Working with the great men of the Men's Shed in Portlaoise we built a greenhouse based IBC biodigester.
The unemployment situation in Ireland is dire, but Irish men are rising to the occasion, as ever, by organizing alternatives to the debilitating status quo. The "Men's Shed" concept is a very hopeful solution: groups of men get together in a location where they can create a common workspace filled with tools on land they can use to experiment, and share capacity building knowledge with one another, blending socialization with solution provision. Holding a biogas workshop and building with these enterprising geniuses was a sheer joy!
